DOD suppliers are able to print labels at no charge with MIL-Comply MSLTM
Ramona, CA April 6, 2010 — Mil-Pac Technology, Inc., the leading compliance software provider for defense suppliers, announces the availability of its newest product, MIL-Comply MSL. Department of Defense (DOD) suppliers and government organizations can download the product free of charge to print Military Shipping Labels (MSLs) which are compliant with the current requirements (Mil-Std-129 Revision R). The product is available for free download.
MIL-Comply MSL prints finalized, Mil-Std-129R compliant labels to any Windows based printer. On-screen data entry wizards, drop-down menus, an address database and other unique features make the package intuitive and easy to use.
The MSL product also allows for shared data between multiple users, supports Defense Logistics Agency & Direct Vendor Delivery shipments, and is capable of creating single line item as well as multi-pack labels. The software contains fully accessible help files and support. MIL-Comply MSL is compatible with current Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 7-32/64.
“Mil-Pac’s new MIL-Comply product suite makes compliance easy and cost-effective. This initial product, MIL-Comply MSL, allows suppliers to learn how easy the DOD compliance process is with no cost or obligation,” says B. Dwain Farley, Chief Executive Officer of Mil-Pac Technology, Inc. “MIL-Comply MSL is a great first look at the many ways in which Mil-Pac Technology software can assist DOD suppliers.”
Additional modules for the MIL-Comply Suite will be available for purchase on a staggered release starting in May 2010. These modules include features such as RFID printing and automated submission to WAWF, UID compliance (including submission to WAWF and UID container labeling), automating WAWF submissions (such as receiving reports, combos, invoices and more) and container labeling which includes over 50 label formats. Integration of these other modules with Mil-Comply MSL merely requires a license change and no additional installation. With that license change, suppliers can experience full automation of the DOD compliance process.
