Pricing Plans
Three distinct
types of network services are offered by Mil-Pac, including:
Value-Added
Network services are offered on an annual, or month to month basis.
An application and trading partner agreement must be completed prior
to start of service. Monthly plans are billed within 10 days after
the end of each service period, and are due within 25 days of invoice.
Annual plans are billed within 10 days of the start of the service
period and due in full within 45 days.

Kilocharacter
Unit Charges
Charges are based
on the processing of data measured in Kilocharacter (KC) increments.
A Kilocharacter is equal to 1000 characters. All KC measurements
are made in 1000 character increments, and character counts less
than 1000 characters are rounded up to a full 1000 character increment.
Client is responsible for the charges for all data sent or received
by it. For billing purposes, all characters within an EDI Interchange
are counted, including the interchange start and stop segments.

Value-Added Services
Value-added
Services (VAS) are available for customers that require specialized
processing of transactions. These
services include:
- Interchange
of individual and bulk transactions between EDI-capable and non-EDI
applications
- Translation
between XML, EDI, database and flat-file formats.
- Direct EDI
processing into enterprise databases
- Data amalgamation
from EDI and non-EDI data sources
- Internet
accessable document warehousing
Value-Added
Services are performed by dedicated application servers located
at Mil-Pac's Network Operations Center. Specialized processing occurs
transparently as data is routed through the VAN. Contact your Mil-Pac
technical representative to determine if your application requires
these specialized services.
