Auto-generate Unique Identification Numbers

The simplest way of adding UIDs to the MIL-Comply database is to copy and paste from an existing list. But, the most popular method is by automatically generating the UIIs from serial numbers. Just enter the Prime Contractor CAGE Code, Part Number and any number of Serial Numbers (by list, range or mix of list and range) and indicate the UID type (Construct 1 or Construct 2).

MIL-Comply supports use of Alternate Part Number and Entity ID when utilizing subcontractor part identification. MIL-Comply can accept DUNS as the Entity ID if preferable.

Embedded UIDs

 multi-level embedded UIDs

MIL-Comply creates multiple layers of UIDs for embedded items as needed for UID components within end-item UIDs. For example, a Jeep is sold to the government with an end-item UID. Contained within the Jeep is an engine, transfer case, and transmission, all of which, if they fell under the UID mandate, would be embedded UIDs. Submitting the UID data to WAWF and/or the UID Registry is simple with MIL-Comply.
